My client, is one of the UK leading retail travel agencies. Do to continual growth they are now seeking a Retail Travel Branch Manager to come and manage this successful team of Travel Consultants in this busy travel agency in Scarborough.

The ideal candidate with be an existing retail travel branch manager or a retail travel assistant branch manager ready to make that next step up the ladder! You MUST be currently working within the travel industry preferably within a retail travel agency and have a minimum of 18 months experience in selling package holidays, tailor-made, and foreign exchange. Along with excellent customer service and a working knowledge of the Viewdata system. Though you'll have plenty of support from Head Office and Regional Managers, the atmosphere, culture and success of the branch - as well as the performance of the team in reaching sales and service targets - ultimately falls on your shoulders. Setting the tone and helping create a 'holiday' and work experience to remember, you'll recruit, coach and motivate your team of travel consultants, so we're looking for a real passion for travel, together with proven management and leadership skills gained. Previous knowledge of FX will be a real advantage although it is not essential.

In return you can expect a salary between £16'000 - £22'000 (dependent on experience) + bonus + excellent travel benefits
