Job Description

A small video production company based in Cobham, Surrey is looking for a runner/assistant to help during our busiest season.

The position requires availability ASAP to middle of July and is paid on a weekly basis (£300 per week).

This is a temporary contract and proximity to Cobham is preferred for practical purposes and travel involved.

The role will involve the duties outlined below and the candidate should be capable of filming matches within two weeks (training will be provided) so previous video production (especially cameras) experience / knowledge is essential.

The company films a number of live sports matches throughout the summer season so interest in sport is helpful. Matches are often on weekends so the candidate must be willing to work on these occasions.

Duties will include:

- Driving of company cherry picker
- DVD duplication, printing & packaging
- Deliveries
- Administrational office based duties
- Some client liaison
- Training for filming of events and eventual filming

Person specifications:

- Understanding / experience of video production (especially cameras)
- A fast and keen learner
- IT literate, basic Word and Excel
- Organised and accountable
- High energy, fun loving and “can do attitude”
- Good communication skills
- Practical and confident

Depending on the success of the season, the candidate may have the possibility of future work.
