Job Description

Doncaster Rovers Football Club are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our growing Commercial Sales Department. The candidate would be required to work as part of a fast paced team selling all Commercial Packages for the Club including Advertising, Hospitality and Sponsorship, to the local business community of Doncaster and surrounding areas,

This high calibre individual must be self motivated have an outgoing personality and be very well presented. Great communication skills on the telephone and face to face are essential as is a willingness to work hard as part of a team.

Experience of business to business sales is essential and any sports marketing experience or experience of selling similar packages would be an advantage.

Candidates must have a full driving licence and own transport for this role.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
(includes the following but flexibility across all aspects is required)

Sales
• To work from sales lists of prospects from within the local business community to gain appointments to discuss the Commercial Packages available within Doncaster Rovers
• To conduct Sales appointments either at the Keepmoat Stadium or clients places of work to point out the advantages of the new facilities and sell products,
• Work under own initiative gathering prospects and new business.
• Manage your own client base and maintain a relationship in order to secure repeat business
• Handle incoming telephone, website and advertising lead enquiries.
• Work on Doncaster Rovers Matchdays and Events liaising with clients to ensure an enjoyable experience.
Office Duties
• Complete Sales Forms and relevant paperwork and collect payments due from clients.
• Liaise with Administration Team with regards to invoicing and contact of clients
• Keep an up to date personal sales database
• Write sales letters, faxes, emails and mailouts to potential Sales Prospects
• Help with production and mailing of event invitations and literature


Hours of Work
(A guideline to hours, but flexibility will be required)

9.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday,

All Doncaster Rovers Matchdays throughout the course of the season. (Days will be given in lieu)
This could be Saturdays, Sundays or Midweek night matches.

All Doncaster Rovers Event Days including Dinners, Presentations, Open days or Staff Training days.
