Job Description

A global market leader within the manufacturing industry are currently seeking a skilled Senior Buyer due to company expansion. Based in the Surrey office the successful candidate will join the purchasing department in order to manage and control the day to day purchasing, whilst managing a team of 2 buyers. The candidate will be responsible for dealing with suppliers on a daily basis and implementing procedures in order to become more structured. Therefore the ideal candidate will have the following:

-Minimum of 4 years Purchasing experience within manufacturing
-Excellent knowledge of MRP, KANBAN, JIT and other methods
-Able to manage and develop a team
-Outstanding communication & negotiation skills
