Senior Category Manager - Retail
THE CLIENT: As part of one of the largest and best known grocery retailers in the UK, our client is an independent convenience business of note. With over 9000 employees and stores throughout England and Wales, this isthey are a progressive companybusiness with a strong emphasis on career development.
THE ROLE: You will be responsible for the development and implementation of commercial planning within specific food categories for the retailer. You will negotiate with suppliers at a senior level, while managing the pricing plan for the given product range in line with corporate guidelines.
CLIENT REQUIREMENTS: Of graduate calibre, you will have a minimum of 2-3 years experience in a similar category management role, ideally within an FMCG retailer. Experience of change management, with excellent negotiation skills to match are a prerequisite.
THE PACKAGE:
Basic Salary: £40,000
Bonus: £4,000
