As Senior CQA Engineer you will be working within the Waste Management team. Your principle responsibilities will include:
- Stability assessment and report writing
- Design and interpretation of ground investigations
- Design of waste management facilities and associated infrastructure, including preparation of tender documents, bills of quantity, specifications and health and safety documents
- Preparation of method statements, CQA plans and validation reports
- Management of Engineers representative or CQA Engineer in respect of construction contracts and CQA duties
- Assuming the role of Project Manager or Engineer as appropriate in respect of construction contracts under the NEC or ICE conditions of contract
The role of Senior Engineer will also include business development and management duties, with responsibility for monitoring and assisting more junior staff.
Qualifications/Skills Required
To apply for the position of Senior CQA Engineer, you will be experienced in Groundworks and Site Investigations. You will hold a degree in Civil Engineering or other related subject. Extensive previous experience on Landfill sites is essential to the role, although experience of Geotechnical/Environmental engineering would also be advantageous.
