Job Description

Senior/Principal Electronics Design Engineer is required for our client based in Kent. You will design and develop new products taking concepts through to production, assist with the supervision of the conceptual design and technology quality, for armed services applications. Other duties include: produce design related documentation, Produce CAD data for the design or PCBs using Protel DXP, offer technical support internally and to clients, assist in the production and testing of prototypes. Experience required in: using real time software for embedded micro-controller systems using C or C++, experience of concept design in digital and analogue electronics, use of Unified Modelling Language (UML), experience in electronic hardware and micro-controller design, experience with real time embedded 16 bit processor circuitry/applications, experience in the design or analogue electronic hardware. Ideally you will have experience of: use of writing MS Windows applications, MS Windows based schematic capture software for circuit design, understanding field programmable gate arrays (FPGA), understanding of digital signal processing (DSP).
