Job Description

This client is a family run, family owned group of companies established since 1975. They have offices in Doncaster and Leeds, where they provide Mechanical and Electrical services to a wide range of clients and markets.

Throughout their history, they have built a reputation as a quality contractor, providing a service that is tailored to their clients needs, be it design and build projects, installation services, project management, testing, commissioning and turnkey packages. The majority of their work is carried out on a partnering basis, as a preferred supplier or through repeat business.

You will be responsible for designing and re-designing clients briefs ready for the electrical installation on site. A large amount of negotiation and liaising with clients is integral to the role. Being a senior position, you will be overseeing your team of engineers to successfully implement design plans and to coordinate, along with project managers the installation of all things electrical.

Qualifications/Skills Required

This is a senior position so will require a large amount of experience either at a similar level or as an electrical design engineer in the past. You will have strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate well with your team and clients. You will have strong design skills, either from working in a consultancy or for a contractor, such as this client. The ability to design and implement design plans are essential for this role.
