Job Description

A leading organisation is seeking a senior engineer to join its dynamic team.

Candidates should possess a degree in a relevant discipline with at least 5 years experience and be of or near chartered status. Candidates are required to demonstrate an understanding of landfill engineering and waste engineering.

Applicants should be able to design and implement site investigations, risk assessments, design and prepare specifications for landfill construction projects, possess civil engineering contract experience and be familiar with quality control measures.

Previous site engineering experience is essential as is knowledge of construction methods, design protocols, landfill and geotechnical assessments. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of other waste related work including landfill gas, waste engineering, waste licensing and permitting and landfill legislation.
