The Nottingham office is located outside of the city centre and houses 100 staff with 40 in civil and structures. The office is modern and open plan with staff travelling easily from South Yorkshire, the West Midlands and some parts of Cheshire. Amenities include an on site fully equipped gym with changing rooms and showers, a large ‘social room, kitchen with vending machine, plus appliances for own food and table football. There is a large outdoor area, which is opened up in Summer.

A Senior Engineer is required to join a team of 40 Engineers and Technicians in Nottingham. You will assist in the design and detailing of heavy civil and structural projects related to buildings as well as highways, drainage and earthworks design. You will carry out surveys, inspections and prepare reports. You will work alongside other experienced Senior Engineers and Project Engineers.

Qualifications/Skills Required

To apply for the position of Senior Engineer you must be experienced in structural design, and should preferably have experience within highways or transportation design as well. You should have strong report writing skills and be an effective communicator. You should preferably be qualified to MSc level and should have previous experience either on site or office based. Applicants should ideally be working towards Chartered Engineer status.
