Job Description

This company is an operating division of the largest construction company in the UK.

They provide a range of civil engineering construction services throughout the UK.

The Company has an annual turnover in excess of £220 million and they carry out projects from around £1m to £75m for a wide range of public and private sector customers.

Their involvement extends from feasibility through construction to maintenance, and ranges from individual projects through to long term framework agreements.

This company is looking for 2 Senior Engineers to report to Site and/or Project Managers. The role will involve full site measurement, reporting and management of subcontractors.

From £1M to £40M project value predominantly under EEC Form of Contract.

Qualifications/Skills Required

The successful candidate will preferably have experience and will be competent in setting out and accurate control of level and line. They will be able to complete records and reconcile major materials and subcontractors. Some cost and programme knowledge would be of benefit. They will have a good understanding of safety and implementation of method statements and risk assessments. They will also need a working knowledge of quality procedures. Previous experience on highways, structures, earthworks and hard landscaping would be advantageous.
