Job Description

Core responsibilities will be to contribute professional environmental experience to projects and lead on major planning applications for regeneration projects, infrastructure developments and various buildings projects; to manage project teams, including external sub-consultants, to promote applications on behalf of clients; prepare reports and proposals and deliver presentations to clients.

As a Senior Consultant you will be expected to contribute to team fee targets, manage your own work load and maintain day to day client communications. You will be required to offer clients the full range of planning advice will be from pre-application feasibility, recommended planning strategies, promoting applications and proposals through the statutory planning process, negotiation and representation at informal hearings/support at major inquiries.

This role may encompass domestic and overseas travel.

Lead single and multi-discipline projects on behalf of the group
Project manage planning applications for clients on major projects
Co-ordinate team members including sub-consultants to meet project requirements, including budget, timing and quality
Develop Client relationships
Seek new work
Prepare financial and technical proposals
Undertake high-level project technical and quality reviews
