This company requires an experienced Senior Estimator as they move into a period of expansion of workload. The successful candidate will be required to fulfil the following duties: produce an accurate prime cost for the project; co-ordinate the tender process; develop relationships with design consultants, clients, project managers etc; identify areas of risk and opportunity; develop relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers; develop knowledge of market place and competitors. Estimating package in use with this client is Conquest.

Qualifications/Skills Required

The successful candidate will require the following skills and attributes: ability to produce accurate prime costings; able to maintain cost data; ability to co-ordinate the tender process; ability to develop relationships with design consultants, clients, project managers, subcontractors and suppliers; able to identify areas of risk and opportunity; good knowledge of market place and competitors; good computer skills; good level of technical expertise; good teamworker; flexible approach; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; able to prioritise. Also previous use of conquest software would be a distinct advantage.
