Job Description

A Dublin based pharmaceutical company are currently recruiting for a Senior Formulation Scientist for their state-of-the-art facilities. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate will be responsible for the formulation and development of drug products, as well as developing and implementing formulation development programmes for new chemical and therapeutic entities. You will need to interpret pharmacokinetic data, design optimal formulations and trouble-shoot any formulation related problems. Acting as a pharmaceutical site expert you will be required to compile development pharmaceutics sections of Quality Overall Summaries for Regulatory filings.
Requirements for this role include a MSc or PhD in a pharmaceutical or related discipline and a minimum of 4 years experience in a formulation position. Furthermore you will have experience in the formulation of solid oral dosage drug delivery systems and knowledge of the regulations associated with drug product development.
