Job Description

Senior Geoenvironmental/Contaminated land specialist with at least 8 – 10 years’ experience, preferably qualified to MSc level. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering contaminated land projects from desk study through to the implementation and validation of appropriate remediation strategies. This is a permanent position, however contractors would be considered.

Details: The position is within the Ground Engineering team which undertakes a variety of contamination and geotechnical projects across UK and Ireland.

Qualifications/Skills Required

Phase 1 and 2 assessments
Planning and supervision of ground investigations
Assessment of risks to human health and controlled waters using qualitative and quantitative methods
Use of analytical software such as CLEA, Consim, EA R&D 20 etc to derive site specific thresholds and clean-up criteria
Interpretative reporting
Determination of appropriate remedial strategies and options including process-based methods
