A Senior Geotechnical Engineer is required to join a multi-disciplinary team in either Warrington or Wakefield. The role will involve the design and management of ground investigations, preparation of desk studies and interpretative reporting, foundation design and slope stability assessments. As a Senior level member of the team, your role will also include training and support of less experienced team members. You will have project management responsibilities and be required to liaise with clients.
Projects will include rail, infrastructure, highways and development with clients including developers, major contractors, public sector companies, major infrastructure suppliers and private sector companies.
Qualifications/Skills Required
To apply for the position of Senior Geotechnical Engineer you must have a degree in engineering geology, civil engineering or similar. A post graduate degree in a relevant subject would be advantageous.
You should be at or perhaps approaching chartered status with a relevant professional institution and must have a clean driving licence. You must have extensive post graduate experience within a consultancy or contractor, with good interpretative report writing and geotechnical design skills.
