This is an interesting role within our clients building structures team. As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer you will carry out the civils design associated with a number of projects where our client is providing structural engineering consultancy design services. Projects vary in size and sector.

Your role will be to act as lead design engineer to produce highways and drainage design packages, allowing our client to deliver a more multi-disciplinary service to their client. The role has good prospects with the potential for you to lead a team and develop project management and client facing skills which will help in your long term career development.

You will be required to take on a high level of responsibility for co-coordinating timely delivery of projects in line. This role has been created as part of a strategic business growth plan and you can expect to have a key role in helping shape our clients capability to deliver infrastructure design services.

Qualifications/Skills Required

Candidates for this role will need to able to demonstrate previous experience in the design of highways and drainage infrastructure, ideally across a diverse range of sectors delivering schemes of varying size. Any experience working alongside a structural engineering team would be an advantage if you are able to demonstrate a good appreciation of building drainage.

Ideally you will be working towards Chartership and will have a pro-active outlook on further training and development. You will be confident working under your own initiative and will have aspirations to lead a small team.
