Job Description
A senior landscape architect is sought to ensure the highest standards of landscape & urban design are achieved, to provide specialist design advice and to take responsibility for specific strategic landscape projects & EIA work.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant first degree or diploma and be a member of the Landscape Institute with 5 years experience in posts involving significant design issues & work.
The role will suit an individual with the ability to initiate and develop landscape & urban design based projects, a design flare, good analytical, negotiation, project management & communication skills and who is computer literate (AutoCad, Artisan and MS Office) with strong graphic representation skills.
The applicant will be a team player with a commitment to professional development and be capable of organising & developing their work with minimumal supervision. Also required is a knowledge of technical, legislative & policy framework and best practice.
Qualifications/Skills Required
• 1st degree in Landscape Architecture/related subject/Diploma/post graduate qualification in Landscape Architecture/related subject
• Member of the Landscape Institute
• 3 years Part IV qualified
• A full current UK driving license
