Job Description

Our client is a major travel business with offices throughout the UK. Based from their Manchester offices, this is an exciting position within a growing specialist division for the business for a marketing professional. This growing department specialises in the sale of camping / mobile home holidays to travel agents and the direct public.

We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager with a background in Direct Marketing, database knowledge, online Marketing and e-commerce, preferably within travel.

The role
- Develop long term marketing strategy to increase new bookings, repeat business and customer loyalty
- Design and produce a range of brochures from inception to product launch, within strict timescales
- Responsible for all websites, including the look, feel and functionality
- Provide direction and ideas for in-resort marketing
- Manage a team of staff including Marketing Manager and Support staff

Ideal Candidate
- 3-5 years experience in marketing, including e-commerce, database management and direct marketing
- Good commercial awareness
- Man management experience
- Experience within the travel industry would be greatly desired
