Job Description

Because of maternity leave, Financail services company require a Senior Media Consultant. You will be flexible & a highly motivated person to shape and deliver excellent media Communications for clients life, International and Banking businesses.
You'll co-ordinate and carry out the day-to-day duties of a typical press office, including responding to media enquiries and providing an out-of-hours service when required. This means your interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain relationships with the people in our business as well as journalists will be crucial. You'll need to be constantly up to date with the latest company and industry developments so that you can ensure your contacts are too.
You'll assist in the planning and delivery of our PR strategy. This will include designing, researching, writing and placing press releases, articles or briefings to appear in our key target media. Another aspect of your role will involve working with people around the business to develop and execute effective media relations plans. With significant financial services PR experience, you'll have established relationships with key financial journalists. This is a high-profile role which requires sound judgement, superb organisational skills and crisis-management expertise.You will have had broadcast experience in either an in-house or agency role. .
