Job Description

This highly respected CRO is seeking a Senior Editor/Writer who will be expected to write and/or edit publication manuscripts, slide kits, monographs, newsletters & congress/exhibit materials based on research conducted in specialised areas of medical science.

Throughout the development of assigned programs, the Senior Editor is responsible for assuring the quality of content and format, as well as liaising appropriately with both faculty & client. For specific projects, the Senior Editor serves as the primary editorial contact for both in-house staff & client, with responsibility for assuring the completion of these projects on time & within budget.

The ideal candidate will have:
• BSc in the life sciences; higher degree preferred
• 2+ years of professional medical writing/editing
• Proven copyediting & proofreading skills
• Effective communication/interpersonal and writing skills
• Computer literacy, familiarity with Reference Manager helpful
• Willingness to travel
