Job Description

A highly successful medical education agency has an opportunity available for a Senior Medical Writer to be based in either London or Oxford. You will be responsible for providing medical writing services for and input into projects requiring a high level of scientific and/or clinical understanding, ensuring scientific rigor and guidance to the respective account and editorial teams in this regard. Principal responsibilities - Gain and maintain in-depth knowledge of assigned therapeutic areas, products and relevant competitors; Liaise with clients and key opinion leaders about scientific aspects of projects; Demonstrate to clients and key opinion leaders an in-depth knowledge of specific therapeutic areas and products, as required; Provide medical writing services on assigned projects/accounts; Review scientific accuracy of manuscripts written in house or externally, as required; Training less experienced Medical Writers within the department as required.
