Job Description

Senior Minerals Surveyor
A leading consultancy is seeking senior minerals surveyor for its North East office.

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years experience and must possess excellent report writing skills and be able to demonstrate experience in managing and administering mineral leases as well as undertaking site inspections, audits, mineral appraisal, valuations and mineral agreements.

Interpersonal skills are essential as the role involves substantial client liaison especially when undertaking mineral consultancy work together with experience of negotiating.

Candidates should be of Chartered status (MRICS) with a degree ideally in mineral surveying, estates management or related discipline and have a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel. A full clean driving licence is essential for this post.

The successful candidate must be self-motivated with the ability to work using their own initiative as well as part of a team and possess the ability to work to tight deadlines.

Qualifications/Skills Required

- Chartered status (MRICS)
- Degree ideally in mineral surveying/estates management/related discipline
- 5 years experience
- Interpersonal skills
- Excellent report writing skills
- Full clean driving licence
- Self-motivated
