Job Description

Senior Noise & Vibration Specialist
Success in a range of environmental commissions has created an opportunity for an Acoustics / Vibration specialist to complement an existing team of planning, environmental and acoustics staff. You are likely to have a strong technical background in leading acoustic assessments for development proposals - the project portfolio encompasses renewable energy, property, infrastructure, transport, minerals and waste studies - perhaps also acting as an EIA project manager. You will have a problem solving and client-centred approach and be able to demonstrate where you have added value to your clients' development aspirations.

We will also consider making an appointment at different grades, Principal level for candidates who can demonstrate significant ability to develop new business opportunities, and Consultant level for less experienced candidates who can demonstrate the right attitude and approach, if not yet a substantial range of experience.

BSc Hons Relevant Technical Degree
Project Management, Project Delivery, Resource Co-ordination
You are likely to have a strong technical background and will need experience of assisting or leading EIAs, for development projects in urban areas. We will be looking for evidence of your personal input when working with clients and colleagues to develop successful, client focussed solutions. A detailed knowledge of EIA legislation will be essential as will knowledge of key factors influencing different technical topics. Membership of IEMA is likely to be beneficial.
Experience of 5years+ preferable
You will need to be organised, a Team worker, Customer Focused, Flexible, Confident, with good Communication skills and an Effective Report Writer
