Project management of large scale jobs
Providing technical direction and reviewing contaminated land projects
Management of project teams
Generation of new business to agreed specific target levels
Contribution to new business strategies and development plans
Initiation of key relationships with existing/new customers and management of client relationships (internally and externally)
Confident communicator with well developed networking skills
Mentoring and development of junior staff
Providing technical advice across the land quality spectrum
Awareness of policy changes affecting the Land and Water team
Qualifications/Skills Required
MSc in suitable subject
BSc Environmental Science, Geography, Geology, Civil Engineering etc.
Chartered member of appropriate organisation
SiLC or aspiring SiLC
Previous employment likely to have been with an Environmental Consultant. May also have been with Civil Engineering Consultancy or in industry.
Mentoring of more junior staff essential. Team management may also be appropriate.
All aspects of project management experience essential.
