Job Description

Working closely within an existing team of over 20 full-time ecologists in the UK, this is an exciting opportunity for the successful applicant to assist in developing our ecological business stream in the north of England from our office in Leeds.

Responsible for managing and undertaking a wide variety of ecological projects, maintaining and developing a diverse client base in the north of England and assisting in the management of a well-established team of ecologists.

Qualifications/Skills Required

Sound field skills covering a range of taxa, preferably with specialist knowledge of particular species/species groups; good knowledge of relevant UK and European legislation; demonstrable experience in EcIA/EIA and ecological mitigation projects; sound project management skills; staff management experience (desirable); good IT skills; full driving licence.

Qualifications: Relevant degree as a minimum. Further qualification and membership of an appropriate professionAL body desirable (IEEM)
