Job Description
An international multi-disciplinary consultancy to the built, natural, social and economic environment is seeking a Senior/Principal Geo Environmental Contaminated Land Consultant to work in its Leeds office.
The role will involve design, supervision, reporting and management of geo-environmental Phase 1 and Phase 2 site investigations. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of human health and groundwater risk assessments to include the CLEA framework and P20 methodologies, plus CDM regulations and the preparation of Health and Safety plans for site works. Experience of proposal writing and financial control of projects will be an advantage. Applicants should have an ability and willingness to assist with client liaison and business development, geotechnical knowledge and demonstrable experience of the interface of contaminated land with the wider development issues of brownfield sites.
Qualifications/Skills Required
- BSc(Hons) level within a relevant environmental/engineering discipline
- Possession of a relevant higher degree is an advantage
- 5-10 years experience, preferably in Consultancy
