A Senior / Principal Transport Consultant is required to join the Development Planning team in the Leeds office. The Development Planning team are involved with a mix of private and public sector, the split being 70:30 respectively. Current work includes frameworks with local authorities and the Highways Agency, however the majority of the work you will become involved with will be developer led. You will assess the impact of these projects on traffic, working to strict budgets and time scales. You will be responsible for monitoring the work of the team and will be given some project management responsibility. You will be required to liaise with clients regularly and attend meetings.
Qualifications/Skills Required
To apply for the position of Senior / Principal Transport Consultant you will have a degree in Civil Engineering or similar, preferably with a masters degree in Traffic and Transport. You must have experience in a similar role, with specific experience in development planning. You should ideally have a private sector background, and should have strong business links with clients. You must have project management experience specific to transport projects, experience of working to short time scales and tight budgets.
