Job Description

Senior/Project Architect
The practice has an excellent staff retention record which is a sign of a positive environment and culture.

With 5 offices nationwide this practice was established over 40 years ago. Work is predominantly secured in the transportation interchange sector for developments at airports, rail and coach stations though other projects such as higher education, retail and commercial make up an ever-increasing proportion of their workload.

Employees are rewarded with a stakeholders pension (switching to a company pension after a year's service) with employers contribution of 2% increasing to 3% after 2 years service, 22 days holiday (increasing to 24 for 2 years service and 26 for 5 years service - 3 days set aside for Christmas), discretionary annual bonus and death in service benefit at 2.5 times your salary.

Job running Architect required to join this busy Manchester practice to work on a variety of projects which can include transportation, education, commercial and residential schemes.

A strong background in the transport and education sector would be ideal but is by no means a prerequisite for this position as there is a varied workload. More important will be your pragmatic approach and eye for innovative design. You will be a skilled job runner and have a proven track record delivering projects to time and on budget.

Qualifications/Skills Required

As a Chartered Architect (RIBA) you will have post-qualification experience running large projects across a variety of sectors.

To be considered for this role you will have UK experience and demonstrate a broad range of design "know-how" coupled with your post-qualification experience.

This practice is offering a good opportunity for the successful candidate to progress their career with a forward-looking team.

Please note: Applications will not be considered from those candidates who are not entitled to work within the UK or the country of the advertised vacancy.
