Job Description

This successful CRO are seeking a senior clinical project manager to take responsibility within a matrixed project team for successful project completion in line with the sponsor contract and expectations.

The successful candidate will be required to:
• Communicate effectively with the project team & sponsor
• Document & maintain a project plan
• Track progress against the plan, identify potential obstacles & facilitate resolution
• Keep the line manager informed
• Produce accurate & complete internal status reports
• Develop a thorough understanding of the contract & scope of work
• Monitor & review the financial progress of the project
• Develop project timelines & communicate these
• Ensure the distribution of responsibilities is clear
• Establish & track milestones to monitor progress
• Review & discuss issues with the line manager
• Discuss procedures & standards with the sponsor
• Ensure that the study team has been trained in the required standards & procedures

Qualifications/Skills Required

• Scientific/biomedical degree
• 5 years CRA/equivalent experience
• 2 years Project Manager experience
• Experience of managing international projects
• Communication & presentation skils
• Ability to evaluate problems & develop solutions
