Job Description

This company is an operating division of the largest construction company in the UK.

They provide a range of civil engineering construction services throughout the UK.

The Company has an annual turnover in excess of £220 million and they carry out projects from around £1m to £75m for a wide range of public and private sector customers.

Their involvement extends from feasibility through construction to maintenance, and ranges from individual projects through to long term framework agreements.

This company require a Site based Senior Quantity surveyor to work on projects with £1M to £40M project value predominantly under EEC Form of Contract.

The role will involve all commercial activities relevant to a Civil Engineering project including valuations, commercial reporting, pricing Compensation Events, procuring and managing subcontractors.

Qualifications/Skills Required

The successful candidate will have worked for a minimum of 3 years as a QS in Civil Engineering. They will be currently QS level, preferably with BSc in Quantity Surveying or in latter stages of recognised QS qualification.
