Established in 1984, this company has expanded it's activities to include a range of integrated services within the commercial and industrial market. These cover project management, design, supply, installation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical installations.
They now operate throughout the UK undertaking installation projects in commercial and public sector buildings, retail outlets and education and medical facilities on behalf of major construction companies.
In 2007, the company moved into their new flag ship headquarters north west of Leeds city centre which encompasses a dedicated design and CAD department within 12,000 square feet of open plan office area.
This leading building services contractor is looking for a Senior Quantity surveyor to be based in their Leeds office.
In this role you will be a vital part of the surveying team reporting to the Commercial Manager. Your role will be the project specific commercial management of various current contracts and the final account resolution of completed contracts.
Your specific tasks will involve sub contract order formalisation. You will be involved in the procurement of sub contractors, dealing with cash flows, valuations, delay management, loss & expense and management of sub contract accounts.
It is vital that you have gained several years experience in an M & E environment working for a building services contractor on large scale projects.

Qualifications/Skills Required
Ideally applicants should have worked in a commercial environment for an extensive period to be considered for this role.
You should be skilled in the art of negotiation and be experienced in contract law. Ideally you will be a member of an industry related body which will support your application.
Experience of bringing jobs to final completion on time and on budget is essential. This should have been in a building services environment working for an M & E contractor.
Ideally you will currently be working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor at the moment how ever if you are employed as a Quantity Surveyor in a building services contractor then this will also be beneficial to your application.
