Our client currently has 10 offices in the UK, and undertake a wide range of engineering projects around the country and overseas. The company has recently become a part of a multi-national Engineering Consultancy and is therefore growing rapidly.

Projects range in scale from multi-million pound urban redevelopment schemes to the renovation of historical, private residences.

Our client works across all the main sectors and provide a broad portfolio of services including structural and civil engineering consultancy, mechanical, electrical and public health engineering services, transportation planning, environmental consultancy, building surveying and health and safety services.

A Senior Structural Engineer is required to join this prestigious consultancy at a crucial and exciting time. You will be involved with Structural Design of a wide range of projects including new build, residential, multi-storey, extensions and industrial.

You will join a team of 9 Structural Engineering staff including Technicians, as they join a team of 80 across all disciplines due to their recent merger with a highly respected consultancy.

As well as carrying out structural design work you will be required to delegate work, manage projects and give guidance to Graduate Engineers and Technicians.

A full training package is provided for candidates who are not already Chartered with IStructE and wish to become so.

Positions are also available at Principal and Associate level.

Qualifications/Skills Required

You should be an experienced Structural Engineer looking for a challenging and exciting new role. To apply for the role you must have a degree in Civil / Structural Engineering (or a similar qualification), as well as extensive UK work experience as a Structural Engineer within an Engineering Consultancy.

Previous experience in a management role would be advantageous though is not essential, however you should have good communication skills.
