As CAD Technician you will be required to prepare Civil and Structural drawings to meet all the time and quality objectives required by the company and its clients.

Your key responsibilities will include:

-Examining and understanding the project requirements.
-Preparing information of adequate clarity for third parties to fulfil their roles on the project.
-Developing detailed design solutions by consultation with team members, suppliers or technical data sources.
-Holding or attending meetings with design team members, subcontractors or suppliers where necessary to develop detailed drawings.
-Undertaking training to meet both company and personal objectives.
-Keeping Engineers informed on all issues affecting the progress and quality of the project.

Qualifications/Skills Required

To apply for the position of Senior Technician you should have an HNC in Building Structures, Civil Engineering or equivalent. You should have training either job or college based in IT and AutoCAD. You should have been employed in a similar position with a Consulting Engineer previously, working on Building Structures projects.
