Job Description

Senior Transport Analyst
A major, multi disciplined consultancy seeks a Senior Transport Analyst to work in its London office.
As a key member of the Transportation Studies team, you will assist the growth of the business and maintain our reputation for technical excellence. Key areas of the role include managing traffic surveys, overseeing data processing, case study reporting, presentation of technical specifications and promotion of our image and capability internally and externally.
A chartered member of an appropriate professional body, you will hold a post-graduate degree in a numerical subject relating to transportation, engineering or mathematics. You will also have around ten years' experience, including statistical analysis and research exposure, in the transportation field and be aware of issues influencing the transportation market in the UK.
The key responsibilities of the position are to work in the transportation studies team of 12+ transportation professionals and manage support staff of 30+; to assist the growth of the transportation business in the UK and elsewhere and to promote and maintain technical excellence in transportation fields.
A First degree in Transport related field and chartered status are essential, whilst a Post Graduate Degree is also desirable.
Statistical Analysis and database management is also a definite requirement.

Qualifications/Skills Required
