Job Description

A leading consultancy is seeking a senior transportation engineer for its Tyne and Wear office.

The successful candidate will have at least 4 years experience and be able to undertake operational junction assessments using OSCADY, ARCADY, PICADY and TRANSYT as well as undertaking the preparation of transport assessments, traffic surveys, accident assessments and gravity traffic modelling.

Candidates must possess excellent project management skills and able to work to tight deadline. Candidates should be aiming to achieve professional qualifications with the ICE/IHT and ideally be educated to degree/masters level. Suitably experienced HNC/HND candidates will be considered for this position.

The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate experience in transport and operational junction assessments coupled with the ability to manage projects and staff as well as client liaison skills.

Qualifications/Skills Required
