Job Description
My client have a unique opening for an experienced usability specialist to form part their team and to manage a range of projects. Working on projects from web design through to mobile phone usability evaluation, you will be expected to be responsible for a team of consultants as well as actively working on projects.
This role will involve:
Project and staff management
Client liaison and new business development
Development of proposal documents and bid responses
Management and implementation of usability projects at all levels
Applying usability skills including user research, evaluation, metrics analysis, groups and interviews
Minimum requirements for this role include:
Staff management experience
Customer/client management experience
At least 4 years of extensive usability expertise
An MSc in Human-Computer-Interaction (or similar field) will be well regarded though a lack of one will not exclude the right person. Experience with usability in relation to mobile phones, Interactive TV, online banking, e-commerce and the public sector will be of interest.
We are looking for a confident, personable and proactive individual with the ability to manage multiple projects whilst retaining the highest level of customer satisfaction. This is a role that will allow the right person plenty of scope to grow, and experience in managing usability consultancy teams will be highly regarded.
