The Water Team in Leeds is currently undergoing a major strategic growth programme and our client is seeking to recruit further to help drive their ongoing success. This is an exciting time to join a progressive team within one of the largest integrated teams of water specialists in UK consultancy.

Senior Water Process Engineer required to deliver and manage technical input to specialist and multi-disciplinary engineering projects. The role will mainly involve overseeing the design and/or operation of treatment for municipal sewage, sewage sludge, its recycling and its disposal.

As Senior Water Process Engineer you will be expected to lead a team of engineers and technicians and contribute to the technical development of the team.

Qualifications/Skills Required

You will need to hold a relevant first Degree (BSc / BEng / MEng) in Chemical Engineering, an Environmental Science discipline or Civil Engineering and be able to demonstrate substantial experience working in the waste water industry.

The successful candidate will have the ability and desire to lead a team backed up with knowledge in the following key areas:

- Sludge treatment processes
- Treatment of sewage and industrial effluents
- Recycling regulations and current influences on sludge operations and strategies

You must possess a valid UK driving licence as you will be required to attend site visits as necessary.
