Job Description
Overall Job Purpose
Playing a key role in our Service Improvement and Problem Resolution team, you'll be identifying trends of incidents. If anything results in increased downtime or repeatedly causes disruption to the business, then you'll be responsible for root cause resolution. As part of the team, you'll also be responsible for reviewing singular significant incidents on closure to make sure all the appropriate lessons are learnt, the opportunity for repeated issues are reduced and the problems identified and closed with minimal impact on revenue of services
Skills Required
* Good understanding of mobile Internet sector.
* ITIL - at least foundation level
* Solid technical background (UNIX scripting, programming, Internet)
* The ability to work well under pressure
* Credibility *
Well developed problem solving skills
* Excellent oral and written communication
* Ability to build good working relationships throughout the business and IT
* Analytical skills * Good knowledge of Microsoft products
Desirable
* Degree or equivalent (preferably a science/computing degree)
* Ability to manage own workload
* Language skills, especially German
* Data Centre Operations background
