Job Description
This family owned contractor has been established for 34 years and works on both building and civils projects mainly around the Yorkshire region. recent projects have included property new build and refurbishment and also construction of a new road. The company employs 18 staff and turns over in the region of £2million per year.
Much of the work completed is done on a repeat business basis.
The company requires an experienced Site Manager to work on a multi-site basis. The role will involve working closely with the Operations Director to maintain a consistency of work flow and quality of work completed.
The successful candidate will be required to manage the work on site, deal with clients, complete all relevant paperwork, manage the health and safety process and maintain the high standards set by the company.
Qualifications/Skills Required
The successful candidate is likely to come from a trades background and will have extensive experience of all the stated duties. They will need to have a very good understanding of the construction process and this must be combined with excellent man management skills.
