Solution Architect - ESI
Company: Top IT Consulting Company
Position Title: SOLUTION ARCHITECT (ESI)
Location: BRUSSELS, BELGIUM
Description: Works closely with key technology and service vendors such as IBM and Microsoft to fully understand and evangelize their products within the overall company’s ESI solution framework. Supports Enterprise Security services across all industries. Acts as a Security expert providing assessment, modeling and transformation expertise. Contributes to customers’ goals of creating a future-state infrastructure where Enterprise Security is a key component of their business strategy and is a continuing focus of their solution deployment activities. Responsible for the design and conceptual integrity of the underlying architecture elements of an enterprise security architecture with a focus on user lifecycle management and access management using IBM and Microsoft solutions, Supply Chain Visibility using RFID solutions, security program development according to accepted standards such as ISO 17799, vulnerability and penetration services, risk and compliance audits and evaluations, and physical security solutions.
Responsibilities:
· As a recognized subject matter expert in the Enterprise Security domain, works with internal and external stakeholders to plan, develop, organize, monitor and deliver services and solutions to clients
· Designs and integrates large and complex enterprise-wide solutions for major clients, interfacing with their senior executives. Assumes a creative leadership role to implement the business and/or technology engineering strategy efficiently and effectively
· Demonstrates extensive knowledge of and ability to appropriately use the broad spectrum of Enterprise Security Business and Technology artifacts, including forthcoming industry standards, emerging trends and/or industry trends, and new and revised standards
· Assumes a proactive and direct role to identify, develop and cultivate profitable business opportunities and establish engagements. Interfaces with internal and external resources to develop proposals and work estimates. Responsible and accountable for the correctness, viability, and estimates for the solution and business architectural environment in client engagements
· Develops and/or provides final review and approval of artifacts that define the business architecture of the solution. Applies a consistent set of business architectural guidelines in the creation of new solution architecture. Uses industry standard graphical modeling languages to develop business architectural designs
· Contributes domain thought leadership both internally and externally. Maintains an awareness of and utilizes state-of-the-art best practices. Networks with peers from external companies. Authors business and/or technology related papers and articles. Presents at major industry conferences
· Establishes and maintains productive working relationships with all business units of the company. Uses these relationships to the best advantage in client engagements

Qualifications/Skills Required

Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree or PhD or equivalent experience
2. CISSP, CISA, or CISM certifications
3. Experience managing teams of practitioners including Architects, Technologists and Consultants, on security engagements
4. At least fifteen (15) years of experience in one or more of the following primary areas at an acknowledged industry expert level:
- Advisory Services: ISO/CobIT standards, risk and compliance (i.e. HIPPA, SoX), BCP/DR, security program development
- Identity and Access Management: Directory/Metadirectory services, Single Sign-On, Web Access Management, Federated Authentication, User Lifecycle Management/Provisioning, Role Based Access Control, Strong Authentication, Biometrics, Smart Cards, Password Management, Web Services integration, PKI
- Supply Chain Visibility: Track and trace, ePedigree and inventory management using RFID technologies, experience with tags, readers and the physics involved with designing and deploying RFID-based solutions
- Security Information & Event Management: IDS and anti-virus/malware solution architecture, architect managed security solutions using ArcSight, provide application security assessments and testing services on web-based applications, security and firewall architecture

1. Consulting experience
2. Experience creating UML-based or other standards-based graphical architecture models
3. Experience working with Virtualization tools, Business process mapping
4. Experience working with modeling techniques and tools such as Proforma Provision and Rational Requisite Pro
5. Experience making presentations to groups or CXO-level executives
6. Experience as a former CSO or CISO
