A Structural Engineer is required to join a team in Stockton. You will work under supervision of a Senior / Project Engineer, supporting the team leader in feasibility options and sketch designs. You will be given the opportunity to project manage small projects and will ensure drawings, reports etc are issued and filed in an appropriate way. You will organise and carry out detailed design and technical calculations. Your role will also involve site visits, dealing with day to day enquiries. You will also have some involvement with business development and should feel confident to make the team leader aware of any business development opportunities. You will be required to participate with multi-disciplinary team meetings, and will be required to make the team leader aware of any resourcing concerns.
Qualifications/Skills Required
To apply for the position of Structural Engineer you must be degree qualified in civil / structural engineering, with substantial design consultancy experience, working as a Structural Engineer. You must be familiar with UK building design standards. This position offers you the opportunity to become more involved with the project management aspects of structural engineering, expanding your experience further, whilst working on a number of exciting and interesting projects. You must be an effective communicator, with good organisational skills.
