This multi-disciplinary consultancy describe their engineering approach as being holistic, combining different disciplines in one, integrated team. There are 50 staff currently in the Manchester office, including 22 Structural Engineers and Technicians. After recently appointing a new Office Director the team are at an exciting stage in their development. Current projects being run from Manchester include a football stadium, a brand new office space in central Manchester and a new build higher education facility, amongst others.

A Structural Engineer is required to join the team in Manchester. You will be involved with architecturally led, design focused projects and will be required to undertake detailed engineering design. Some key aspects to your role would be the preparation of technical schedules, planning and management of CAD documentation and provision of guidance to technicians. You will work closely with senior staff and will attend meetings with the client, other professionals and suppliers. You will be fully supported towards achieving chartership. Other responsibilities include mentoring Graduate Engineers.
Qualifications/Skills Required
To apply for the position of Structural Engineer you should be degree qualified in Civil / Structural Engineering ideally with a Master's. You should have significant previous experience within the design of building structures according to British standards.
