A Structural Engineer is required to join a team of Engineers and Technicians in York. You will be mainly involved in rail focused projects in particular the design and maintenance of railway platforms, access ramps and stations. An element of inspection and assessment work may also be involved including feasibility studies for platform extensions and strengthening projects as well as work on bridge projects.
Qualifications/Skills Required
To apply for the position of Structural Engineer you should ideally be Chartered (IStructE or ICE) with previous experience in a similar role, working on similar projects. Alternatively you may have a strong general background in Structural Engineering and would like the opportunity to be involved in rail projects.
