HCT is seeking applications for the Supervisor of Information Technology Programs who will:

• Nurture/promote excellent teaching practice
• Develop plans to meet the program quality assurance requirements
• Formulate goals, objectives, priorities and the preparation of plans and budgets for the successful implementation of HCT programs, effectively and efficiently utilizing resources
• Promote innovation, creativity, entrepreneurship and technological integration
• Organize and manage an effective advising program
• Assist in the recruitment of staff and ensures the effective, continuous management, development and evaluation of assigned staff
• Communicate with the local community, including business, industry, government in order to assist with the placement of graduates and to promote and continuously improve College programmes insuring their conformance with industry standards and workforce needs
• Identify, develop and pursue opportunities for personal and professional faculty growth and development
• Coordinate college-wide IT programmes, representing the same externally as appropriate

Qualifications/Skills Required

• Master's Degree in Information Technology
• Ph.D. in a related area is desirable
• At least 3-6 years of relevant teaching/training and industry experience
• At least 3-6 years experience at a supervisory level in industry or education
• Prior experience in curriculum development experience desired
• Superior interpersonal, team-building and leadership skills to work effectively in a dynamic, cross cultural environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English required
