Job Description
Large household retailer is looking for a Supply Chain Controller to set up and develop a Vendor Management Program, ensuring all current and new vendors have agreed Terms and Conditions with the company and are aware of the Vendor Manual; additionally to train the Supply Chain team as to requirements of distribution and work with team members to ensure they convey the importance of requirements in all communications with Vendors. The successful candidate will supervise a small team while training all other team members (up to 20) within Supply Chain; this role will require regular travel to Merseyside. Experience: in excess of 5 years business experience in a sales driven Distribution, Supply Chain or Customer Service Role; 1st class leadership, communication and interpersonal skills in addition to the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Proven management and planning skills are required to direct a team to deliver results and complete projects within established timeframes.
