Job Description

Leading global organisation has an URGENT requirement for an Expeditor to join their expanding Supply Chain team. The job holder will manage and provide a visible expediting function for all purchase orders for a specific range of vendors, both domestic and international; the role also involves contacting the vendor to establish a critical timeline for all purchase orders, establishing nature of goods (ex-works or manufactured) and point of origin and working with vendors to establish size and nature of deliveries to allow for forecasting of inbound freight. The successful candidate will have in excess of 2 years business experience in a sale driven Purchasing, Supply Chain, Distribution or Customer Service role, knowledge and experience of handling purchase orders for product, with experience of managing imports a definite advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels and the ability to work to tight deadlines with a strong desire to win.
