Job Description
MSB Supply Chain has a position for a Supply Chain Manager for their global manufacturing client. We are looking for experience in:
Implementation of best practise total Supply Chain solutions.
Lead the Strategic Purchasing function & manage key suppliers.
Minimize inventory holding
Ensure that a Pro-active Cost Reduction programme is maintained.
Create & Implement continuous improvement activity.
Implement & Manage the supplier development process.
Make optimum use of improved Supply Chain methods currently being reviewed in conjunction with the Global S.C.function (standardisation, e-commerce, auctions etc).
Seven to Ten years supply chain experience, with 3 to 5 years at management level.
High level of commercial, numerically and analysis skills
Detailed working knowledge of modern procurement methods.
Ability to develop, negotiate and manage contracts is required.
Experience In depth knowledge of MRP systems.
Knowledge of Electro Mechanical Engineering an advantage
