Job Description

My client has an urgent requirement for a senior systems engineer for this 6 month contract. They are an international technology company and market leader in the field of communication, navigation and surveillance systems for air traffic control. The successful applicant will work within the systems engineering department in direct support of customers, sales, marketing and projects. You will be required to capture and assess requirements and specifications from clients in a global marketplace. Design, develop and produce cost estimates for ground to air communications and related civil and military ATC systems. Communicate what the system does its benefits and unique selling features verbally, visually and in writing and take overall technical responsibility of a system design when assigned as project engineer or work in a small team when required. You will have upwards of 5 years in a systems or design engineering role preferably in HF/VHF/UHF communications or telecommunications. Good working knowledge of IT in particular Networks, Microsoft Word, Excel and Visio or similar packages.
