Role Overview
To develop and drive team forward to ensure a high level of performance is maintained and to strive to meet and exceed targets. To maintain ICOB regulations for department PPP sales.
Key Targets and Objectives
To ensure the targets set are achieved which include maximise PPP, no of deals approved and income, number of days it takes to pay out and overall payout for month. Responsible for SLA and compliance requirements for Lenders. To develop and maintain Lender relationships. To undertake department roles as delegated by sales manger and director.
• To supervise, manage and develop members of team.
• Supervision received is minimal; monthly appraisal with direct line manager, targets are set monthly for department and ad hoc meetings when required mostly left to work on own initiative.
• Internal contacts are all across the company.
• External contacts include building society's/banks, financial companies, surveyors, lenders and solicitors.
Decision Making
• The decision to recycle old data to individuals when call volume is low.
• When excessive applications are passed over to decide what the lowest sale amount to do deal for will be.
• To do resale's; to make call's if not as anticicipated which may mean lower margins.
• To undertake recruitment interviews.
Process Accountabilities
To strive to exceed sales targets while ensuring SLA and FSA regulations are adhered to.
Main Responsibilities
• To ensure work is completed when members of staff are absent.
• To manage a mixed ability group ensuring maximum productivity from each individual.
• To respond to lender requirements.
• To ensure team are following up documents that have been issued.
• To monitor costs verse income on whether a deal will be profitable for the business.
• To give monthly appraisals to team members to discuss performance and set targets for month ahead.
• To attend a monthly one to one with direct line manager to discuss business and performance issues.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Knowledge
• Full knowledge of the lenders criteria.
• To fully understand the business process and the know how on what is achievable and required to achieve the desired results.
• Knowledge of ICOB.
• To fully understand the land registry DOX compliance system.
• The knowledge of other lenders criteria.
